This group is designed for first time parents seeking information and
skills on parenting young children from toddlers to pre-teens. The group
focuses on understanding the developmental needs of children, how children
learn, how to create a safe learning environment. Age appropriate discipline
skills is also a vital part of parenting that aims to ensure the safety,
and dignity of all family members when children behaviour is unwelcome.
Finally the group examine how to develop a healthy emotional atmosphere

law down.
This group helps parents and youth make develop necessary skills so that
they can make real make the necessary adjustments to help each participant
understand each others needs, communicate their own and learn how to hear
and be heard even when there is disagreement.
Parenting through Mental with Mental Health Issues
This is a specialty and the most unique group available.
This group is expressly for parents (or their partner) who lives with
the effects of a mental health issues while trying to parent at the same
time. The effects of mental health have far reaching effects on the ability
to parent. This group draws on each others strength and helps parents
learn how to maximize their coping strategies and seek solutions form
their past success to maintain their sanity in all weather.
